What do you do in this profession?

Pest controllers take various measures to protect people, animals, plants, supplies, materials, and buildings from pests.

If a pest infestation has already occurred, they inspect the premises, select the necessary control agents in each case and apply them in an environmentally conscious manner.

They document all measures and the substances used in the process. Advising customers takes on a particularly high priority.

Pest controllers provide information about the risk potential, the possibilities and duration of control, the modes of action of the control agents, and safety and preventive measures.

You will be responsible for the
- execution of scheduled orders
- monitoring, deterrence, resettlement and
and control of pigeons
- installation of pigeon and bird repellents, etc.

You take care of pests, beneficial insects or even nuisances like:

Mouse, rat, cockroach, bedbugs, moths, pigeons, marten, dormouse, raccoon, moth, ant, bee, wasp, hornet, bacon beetle, silver and paper fish and many more.

- trained pest controller
- career changer possible
- a completed manual apprenticeship
- several years of professional experience in a comparable position
- good judgement and a quick grasp of the situation
- Customer-oriented, self-reliant and independent way of working - combined with great diligence
- Analytical / strategic way of working
- Team player and sense of responsibility
- Experience with Hygitec advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of Odoo advantageous
- Good knowledge of written and spoken German
- Knowledge of English advantageous but not mandatory
