The association Haus der Volksarbeit e. V. has been active in psychological counselling, educational support and family work in Frankfurt am Main for 75 years. Today, the association runs a marriage and sexual counselling centre, an educational counselling centre, the Catholic telephone counselling service with a crisis and life counselling centre, an inpatient residential group, curative education day groups, outpatient help with upbringing, a family education centre (Zentrum Familie), a self-help centre for the disabled (Initiative Allenstein) with assisted living and day care centres for children.
